Registering Your NEW STUDENT for Dingeman Elementary School for the 2026-2027 School Year
CURRENT TK through 4th GRADE DINGEMAN STUDENTS (FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR) DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE THIS PROCESS. (THE PROCESS FOR CONTINUING STUDENT ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL BE PROVIDED SEPARATELY.)
If you are the parent/guardian of a student who is NEW to Dingeman Elementary School (not enrolled at Dingeman for the 2025-2026 school year), including those that live within the Dingeman boundaries and those who have been accepted via the Choice application process, please complete the google form below to initiate enrollment:

If your student is not enrolled at any San Diego Unified School District School for the 2025-2026 school year, you must also complete the New Student Online Enrollment portal application at the link below:

You will also need to provide the following at the time of enrollment:
1. Birth Certificate or Passport
2. Immunization record with all vaccinations up to date
3. Proof of Residence (ie: current utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement)
4. Medical Form: Health Checkup Requirements and Medical Form
5. Dental Form: Dental Form

Grade Level Placement is based on age:
TK (Transitional Kindergarten): For students who are 4 by September 1st
Kindergarten: For students who are 5 by September 1st
1st Grade: For students who are 6 by September 1st
2nd Grade: For students who are 7 by September 1st
3rd Grade: For students who are 8 by September 1st
4th Grade: For students who are 9 by September 1st
5th Grade: For students who are 10 by September 1st
