Hi! My name is Ms. Kristine Walker, and I live in Rancho Bernardo with my three kitties—Max, Jack, and Ruby. I have two sons who both attend the University of Colorado Boulder. Sko Buffs! I love traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with friends and family. This will be my 17th year teaching, my second year at Dingeman Elementary, and my fifth year teaching 5th grade. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree, a Multiple Subject and Single Subject Teaching Credential, a Child Development Permit, and a Master’s degree in Education. I truly believe that 5th grade is a special year. It is a time when students grow tremendously — academically, socially, and emotionally—as they prepare for middle school. Throughout the year, students will have exciting opportunities to build confidence, develop independence, strengthen friendships, and challenge themselves in new ways. I am thrilled to be your child's 5th grade teacher and look forward to partnering with you to make this a fun, engaging, and successful school year. Together, we will create a positive classroom community where every student feels supported, encouraged, and inspired to do their very best.
