Hello Families,
I teach second graders in Room 11 at Dingeman. I love to work with children. Every year I bond with my students, and we become a family of learners. We grow and learn from each other and make memories that can stay with us for life. Dingeman Elementary School is a wonderful place for children! All the teachers here are very caring and capable. I have been a teacher at Dingeman since 2008. I have taught 5th grade, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade here, and enjoyed each grade. When my two sons were in preschool, I decided to become a teacher. In addition to teaching children, I love to play soccer, ride horses, and hike in San Diego back country. I feel passionate about supporting a sustainable planet and am currently learning about plant-based proteins as a replacement for meat. Critical thinking discussions with my students is a favorite activity in our classroom. I look forward to each new year as a teacher and a learner myself.
